We have been experiencing degraded performance from our email system, which has been a result of service delivered by our technical resource supplier.
As a result, we have decided to bring the management of the email system in-house in order to address these deficiencies. Accordingly, we will be upgrading the system during the week beginning 29 August 2006. The new email system will be tested and it is expected that users will be migrated over the weekend beginning 2 September 2006.
We do not expect users to notice the change (other than the ongoing improved stability of the platform) although in the past we have had reports of some read mail - being marked as unread (or being un-deleted).
